Get Caregivers to the Polls

One of these people is a real caregiver. The other just plays one on TV. But both care deeply about fixing our broken healthcare system. That’s why SEIU brought them together last week to talk with voters about the importance of this election.

Two stars from NBC’s ER joined SEIU Healthcare members just outside Pittsburgh, PA last weekend to talk with voters about the candidates’ plans for healthcare. Check out this video of ER’s Laura Innes and Gloria Reuben going door-to-door with SEIU Healthcare members.

Having television celebrities talk with them about this election was a real thrill for voters in Pennsylvania. But, when it comes to really connecting with doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers, no one is more effective than real caregivers.

Tell your colleagues how important their voice is in this election – start calling caregivers in your area.

Elections matter. Every vote matters. Our unique perspectives as caregivers matter. We cannot underestimate the enormous opportunity we have in this election. And we can’t let it pass us by, either. Casting your own vote is important but, honestly, it’s not enough. It’s not enough because, for healthcare workers, this will be the most important election of our lives. Make a big impact in the final days of this campaign by calling caregivers and reminding them to vote.

Thanks for all that you do,
